WELCOME TO SPRING

Cherry Blossom season is just around the corner! For a few short weeks every year, all of Japan will be awash with delicate pink flowers. Check out our updated Cherry Blooming Forecast for the average first bloom and the average full bloom dates across the country.

Looking for the best place to see the blossoms? Find the most popular Sakura-viewing spots at the Japan Traveler Online website. Click on an area of the country, then the different locations available within that region for information on the location, access, etc.

Once you've snapped that perfect photo, enter the JNTO Sakura Photo contest on the Visit Japan International Facebook page. Upload your photo and "Like" other photos. Photos with the most "Like" will be posted as the winners on the website and receive a small prize.
